To celebrate what would have been Elvis Presley’s 90th birthday, we’re bringing back one of our most popular creations: the Flaming Elvis Dog. Available for one week only, from January 6 to January 12, 2025, this over-the-top hot dog is a fan-favorite tribute to Elvis’s larger-than-life spirit and love of bold flavors.
What better way to say “Happy 90th birthday” to Elvis than with a hot dog inspired by his legendary appetite? The Flaming Elvis Dog takes its cue from two iconic Elvis food stories: the Fool’s Gold Loaf, a legendary bacon, peanut butter, and jelly sandwich Elvis famously flew to Denver to eat, and his well-known love for peanut butter, banana, and bacon sandwiches fried up at home.
Our take? A smoked all-beef hot dog topped with flambéed rum butter bananas, a crispy strip of thick-cut bacon, and a drizzle of creamy peanut butter sauce. Sweet, savory, and unforgettable—just like Elvis himself.
The Flaming Elvis Dog will be available at all three Steve’s Hot Dogs locations across St. Louis. Our South Grand flagship location offers a cozy atmosphere in the heart of Tower Grove. At Delmar Blvd, you’ll find us in the buzzing Delmar Maker District, surrounded by spots like The Fountain on Delmar, ABC Distillery by Alpha Brewing Co., and Nixta, with a heated courtyard perfect for winter dining. Out west, our newest Chesterfield location at The Hub in The District of St. Louis features a lively setting with live music, a giant LED screen, and plenty of fun for the whole family.
